1. Who we are

Objais Partners is a brand operated by Quotinsure Lda ("Quotinsure", "we", "us", "our company"), a company with registered office at [address TBD], Portugal, with tax identification number (NIPC) [TBD], registered with the Commercial Registry Office of [TBD].

Quotinsure Lda is the entity responsible for processing the personal data collected through the Objais Partners website and portal (objais-partners.com), acting as data controller, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This Privacy Policy applies to visitors of the institutional website and to applicants who submit a request for admission to the network, before having an active account on the platform. For members with an active portal account, the General Terms and Conditions additionally apply.

2. What data we collect

a) Data submitted through the application form ("Network Application"):

  • Full name
  • Email
  • Phone (optional)
  • Country
  • Type of professional/entity (insurance agent, insurance broker, insurance company, lawyer, appraiser, carrier or other)
  • Brief professional profile presentation
  • Company name
  • Address (line 1 and 2), postal code, city, country
  • Tax identification / VAT number
  • Professional registration number (where applicable)

b) Data collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type and device
  • Pages visited and time spent, through server logs

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this website.

3. What we use your data for

  • Evaluating and processing your application for admission to the Objais Partners network
  • Communicating with you about the status of your application
  • Verifying your professional identity and eligibility, before approving access to the platform
  • Issuing invoices, where applicable (lead purchases) or preparing co-brokerage agreements
  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations (namely regarding anti-money laundering and due diligence on business partners)
  • Ensuring the security and proper functioning of the website

4. Legal basis for processing

  • Performance of pre-contractual steps, at your request, in the case of application evaluation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
  • Compliance with legal obligations, namely tax obligations and anti-money laundering prevention (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
  • Legitimate interest of Quotinsure Lda in ensuring the quality and trustworthiness of the partner network (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

5. Who we share your data with

Your data may be shared with:

  • Service providers that support us in operating the platform (hosting, technical infrastructure), subject to contractual confidentiality obligations
  • Public authorities, when required by law
  • Other network partners, only after approval of your application and only to the extent necessary for the co-brokerage or lead purchase you expressly accept

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Retention period

  • Data from non-approved applications: retained for 12 months after the decision, after which they are deleted, unless you reapply.
  • Data from active members: retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and, after its termination, for the period legally required for tax and accounting purposes (as a rule, 10 years in Portugal).

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request the erasure of your data, where applicable
  • Object to the processing or request its restriction
  • Request the portability of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt

8. International transfers

Since Objais Partners operates a cross-border network, data of approved applicants may be accessed by partners in other countries, always within the European Economic Area or to countries with an adequate level of protection recognised by the European Commission, or subject to appropriate contractual safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

We adopt appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or destruction.
